In this episode of the podcast, we talk to, 4:03 Miler, Matthew Novak to break down how he got to where he is today.
Matthew Novak is a D1 Track and Cross Country Runner at the University of Virginia. Back in high school, Matt was an 8 x Individual State Champion, 1 x National Mile Champion, and a Millrose Qualifier. Matt quickly saw success at UVA, and during his freshman year, he ran a 4:03 Mile, which ranked him 3rd on UVA's all-time Freshman Mile List. Towards the middle of Matt's sophomore season, he had a series of unfortunate events that lead to a dark time in his career. In this episode, we dig into how he pulled himself out of that dark time and many other pivotal moments that got him to where he is today.
